Nestling in gentle hills between two of Tuscany's most beautiful towns, San Gimignano and Certaldo, Fattorie Santo Pietro is an oasis of peace set in varied, unspoilt countryside on the ancient Via Francigena pilgrim route.
Ancient dwellings that once belonged to noble Tuscan families have been carefully restored in keeping with the architectural style of rural Tuscany. They form a small, quiet cluster of buildings 6 km from San Gimignano's famous towers.
In the 300-hectare property there are dozens of hectares of vineyards. These provide the precious fruit for making Vernaccia - which has been produced in this area since the 13th century - and Chianti dei Colli Senesi.
The vines are accompanied by silvery olive trees. In the winter these yield up their precious gold nectar, an extra virgin olive oil with a full, fruity taste. The apartments provide hospitality for visitors from all over the world, who return year after year to savour the authentic spirit of Tuscany.

Situated along the ancient pilgrimage route, the Via Francigena, and only 10 minutes drive from the famous medieval towers of San Gimignano, is the beautiful country house of Montecarulli.
The Country House forms part of the private estate of Fattorie Santo Pietro which covers 250 hectares of land, dotted with olive groves and vineyards from which the Chianti and Vernaccia wines are produced, not to mention the fields of sunflowers and woods. The house boasts 360 degree panorama and memorable views of the towns of Certaldo and Gambassi Terme.

Our intimate “Country House” offers just few elegant and spacious rooms that have recently been completely refurbished paying great attention to detail. The rooms all come with air conditioning, satellite Tv, safe, bathroom with shower or bath and hair dryers. We have superior double rooms, family rooms (one double room and single room) and suite (one double room with separate lounge about 80 mq).

Restaurant
The imposing dining room, where grapes used to make Vinsanto were once left to raisin, is dominated by a large fireplace.
By prior arrangement, guests may dine here, enjoying the estate's typical products (wine and oil) and traditional Tuscan dishes. A full buffet breakfast and brunch are available on request.
Cookery courses in Tuscan and regional cuisine can be arranged for groups of 5 to 10 people.

Meeting
Near the restaurant building, there is a new convention hall, on two levels. The modern and functional structure, however built in the total respect of the contest, can host 60 persons.
In the convention hall there are comfortable chairs and a big desk. Possibility to connect pc to a big display. Big windows face directly on the hills, air conditioned and toilets will make congresses, conferences and meeting more comfortable.

Weddings
Fattorie Santo Pietro has plenty of space for wedding receptions and other functions. We offer a complete and efficient but also warm and welcoming service.
Whether you choose to book all or just some of the sixteen apartments, the Fattorie is ideal for putting up friends and relatives in the peace and quiet of a stylish yet intimate environment, set in the tranquil hills of the Tuscan countryside.
We will do everything we can to make your reception a very special occasion, taking care of all the details and organizing everything - from your own choice of menu to the flower decorations, hairdressing service, beauty care and relaxation treatments, photographs and musical entertainment.
