The Masseria is surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the peaceful valley famous for its skilfully cultivated vineyards which in fact produce a very well know white wine: the Locorotondo Doc.
Masseria Aprile is one of the most prestigious farms in the Locorotondo area. It is far from traffic and noise and the chaos of city life, and is the ideal place to spend a vacation in complete peace. Our guests are surrounded by the fresh smells of country life and wonderful natural beauty. The Masseria is rich in history because everything has been preserved by the natural charm of time.

- Breakfast, during winter, is served in an antique stone room build in 1915. This room, which was used in the past as a carriage house, has been carefully restored and has a beautiful fireplace. During summer or on the hottest days, breakfast is served on the panoramic terrace. Breakfast is based on products made on the farm, such as home made bread, baked in the wood stove, fresh marmalades, cookies and cakes daily baked, milk from our cows and, if you like, a special bread called “friselline” dressed with tomatoes from our fruit garden and fresh tasty oil from our olive grove.
- Dinner is served only by booking and only for people who sleep on the farm. We will involve you in the preparations of the typical dishes (lamb rolls “gnumred suffuchet”, the famous pasta “orechiette”, meat rolls “brasciole” with tomatoes sauce, chicken or rabbit in clay pans and many more traditional dishes), prepared with the typical products of our farm. Dinners on our farm are eaten in a cosy and familiar atmosphere, where you will remember forgotten flavours and smells.
- Half Board. We have special agreements with a local and traditional restaurant of Locorotondo only a few steps away (km 1).

- The spa Jacuzzi® whirlpool bath is on the internal garden. In the garden, there are spaces where you can sunbathe and read enjoying a hot cup of tea completely relaxed. This is the best way to reinvigorate body and soul and let a long tiring day disappear.
- Walks in the wood, in the vineyard and to the ancient tower where there are little underground caves. It has been said that these caves lead to the sea.
- Visit to the barns. Ciccio, the groundskeeper, will show you the milking area and Rosa will show you how to work the cheese: “mozzarella”, ricotta cheese and “Caciocavallo”.
- For the children there is a large space near the apartments where they can play on the swing and see “Sisina” a domestic donkey.
- Bicycles are available for those who would like to visit some of the more than 100 “contrade” (neighbourhoods) in the countryside of Locorotondo.
- Visit to the family museum where the antiques that belonged to the Masseria hundreds of years are kept, including ancient tools and utensils once used for farm life.

PALMENTO:
The Matrimonial room, made in local stone and with the typical “barrel” vault, has an independent entrance. It has a bedroom with an extra single bed, private bathroom with a shower, a living room, and a garden with kitchenette and veranda. Accessories include: TV color, fridge, safe box and heating.
CANTINA:
This is a two-room apartment made in local stone with the typical “barrel” vault with an independent entrance. There is a living room with a sofa-bed for two people, kitchenette, refrigerator, TV, bathroom with shower, matrimonial room with a bed for child, safe box and heating system.

LEGNAIA:
This is a two-room apartment made in local stone with the typical “barrel” vault with an independent entrance. There is a living room provided with a sofa-bed for two people, a kitchenette, refrigerator, TV, bathroom, matrimonial room, safe box and heating system.
CUMMERSA:
This is a two-room apartment made in locale stone with the “cummersa” vault, typical “barrel” vault of the area. This apartment is located on the second floor and shares the entrance with the casa padronale. This apartment is completed with a living room (there are two sofa beds), refrigerator, TV, bathroom, matrimonial room and heating system.
