An antique country house built at the end of the 19th century (totally renovated) with an antique internal courtyard attached to it, and a suggestive farm where the farmers live and manage the annexed farm. The house is available all year round, it is situated in a peaceful area between Ragusa (approx. 9 km.) famous for its baroque above all in Ragusa Ibla (antique part of the town, with churches and noble palaces and with its suggestive stairs) and Marina di Ragusa (approx. 8 km.) a well known sea-side resort in South Eastern Sicily.

The house immersed in the countryside of Ragusa with its typical stone walls, its olive trees, its carrub trees and all that nature has to offer, has a broad view that goes as for as the sea which is only a few km. away.
The “massari” (farmers) live down-stairs in the internal courtyard, they are always hospitable and offer the guests the possibility of tasting some exquisite typical local products at lunch or dinner by request.
The whole area has an exceptionally warm climate with beautiful sunny days in winter even 15/16C°, pleasantly ventilated in summer above 26C°. As for as climate concerned the best periods are autumn and spring , however thanks to the high temperatures reached summer gives you the possibility to enjoy an intense and relaxing sea-side lifestyle.

The villa offers a very relaxing country holiday but lively attractions are available at the sea-side resorts in the zone it you wish: Marina di Ragusa, Punta Secca, Donnalucata, Sampieri, Pozzallo, (from where you can reach the Island of Malta by catamarano for a one day visit) full of animation, of shops, some of the most famous discotheques in Eastern Sicily, restaurant and outdoor cinemas.

The house is approx. 170mq.; it offers 7 sleaping accommodations located on the first floor with access from the characteristic and antique “Baglio”; its composed of a sitting -room with a fire-place that give on to a 100 mq. panoramic furnished terrace, with a view that reaches the sea, dining-room, kitchen, single bedroom with access onto the terrace with a view that reaches the sea, a master bedroom with private bathroom, a double bedroom, and an other master bedroom with a view that reaches the sea, an other bathroom with a shower; the house has an other 70 mq. terrace. |
