Casale dell'Ansiną
|
 |
|
 |
|
The hills of the Monferrato
are each different from the next one,
draped with vineyards
and romanic churches
They tease you with their colors
and with their people,
and slowly but surely
you fall in love with all of them.

The name is as old as the Bed and Breakfast itself,
both dating back to 1889.
Beautifully restored to its original rustic but elegant atmosphere,
the Casale dell'Ansiną
welcomes you with its elegantly,
antique furnished, rooms,
and its 18th century canteen
where you can taste the region's best selection of wines..

The Casale dell'Ansiną is an excellent base for gastronomic and cultural tours in Italy and it is conveniently located near Turin, the baroque city of Piedmont, and Asti, the city of the towers.
The hills surrounding the Casale are draped with thevineyards that have given the region its worldwide fame for wine production. Guests can, upon reservation, visit nearby farms and, when in season, participate in the harvest, as well as taste the wines, together with the wine makers, themselves. Additionally, Romanic jewels such as the Vezzolano Abbey are only a few minutes away and tours of the ancient churches of the area are organised upon
reservation. Cooking and wine tasting courses are held in the Casale on a rotating basis.
The Casale also offers horseback riding and trekking.

The Casale dell'Ansina' offers single and double rooms, each with private bathrooms, antique furnishings, television, telephone and a safety deposit box. The rooms take their name from the color of the flower, which decorates them: Pomegranate, Lavender, Lemon-balm and Rose.
The Casale is surrounded by century old trees and also has a beautiful garden, where, during summer, full breakfasts are served.
The lounge with a wood burning fireplace is available for guests who wish to relax.
