Villa Sobrano is a picturesque country residence located a few kilometres from Todi and can be seen from the Orte - Perugia motorway a little after the Collevalenza exit It lies amid the peaceful green hills of Umbria , where the rural landascape is at its most enticing Alternating rows of vines and cypresse , together with occasional little woods, adorn the soft hills.
The different tones of green create a magic effect, as infinite as the spaces open to the human mind.

Near by the Villa there is the castle which has been documentated since the 13 th century. The local aristocracy favoured this location, particolarly in the summer and autumn, partly no doubt due to the rich vineyards attached to the castle. enovation and extension has continued over the centuries, reflecting its strategic location on the Rome to Montecastrilli road.

Villa Sobrano is in the Rosceto district near to Todi . Arriving from Todi take the Roman Gate out of the town and then cross the road to Rosceto. For those arriving frome Rome or Perugia take one of the exits for Todi or Collevalenza. The Villa is a substantial building with rural outbuildings and common open spaces. It possesses an Italian garden and a small private chapel. The central feature is the Villa begun in the 8 th century, in which there are 2 suites and 4 double rooms. The living room, the dining room and a 50 metre gallery are also here , together witha substantial wine store.
