The farmhouse, rebuilt from an old farmstead of the first 19th century, gives you the opportunity to refresh (dining room open exclusively with reservation) and to relax (four bedrooms en suite, free internet access/adsl, tv room with parabolic antenna and terrestrial digital). There is a wide choice of outdoor activities: fishing a typical local fish (the "tinca gobba"), biking, cooking courses, concerts, there is also an area equipped for barbecues and an outdoor and indoor play area for your children with friendly staff who will look after them. Our major goal is the best exploitation of the agricultural products of the surrounding area, through the promotion of the new local realities of alimentary transformation.

RESTAURANT Open exclusively with reservation. For dinner fromThursday to Sunday. Sunday only lunch. It is possible to book whenever for special cerimonies and events. The most important aspect is the taste of our products. You can descover the taste of the traditional Piedmontese cuisine. Eating in our restaurant it is like travelling in the past (through our simple dishes without unnecessary frills) when our country did not know the noise of the electric motor! Remember to book. When you call us you can chose the type of dish you want to eat. Otherwise we will chose the dishes for you because we do not have a la carte menus. Your children can play in our amusement room, well equipped for them. When you will be sweetly concentrated in tasting our dishes, your children will be playing and enjoying themselves, so people sit next to you could eat peacefully without being distracted from them. This is why we can say (in a low voice) : "to kill two birds with one dining room". The most interesting activities to enjoy the countryside and getting lots of fresh aire are: * fishing the tipycal local fish (the "tinca"); * biking. Our farmhouse is located in a peaceful and beautiful Piedmontese area known as "pianalto" (www.lifepianalto.org/01_01_progettoPianalto.php). Our central position is a gateway to the city of Turin, Asti and Alba. Relax, relax, relax. When you lay in our beds in Poirino's country, you will not hear the noise of the town, but the only sound you can hear is the cirping of the birds and the croaking of the frogs. You will be satisfied of the mix created in our farmhouse by the respect of the tradition and the technology: ADSL, SATELLITE, TERRESTRIAL DIGITAL, DVD AND CD READER.

Our activity gains benefits from the natural environment. For this reason we tried , when we started the building works, and we will try during the management of this activity to combine in the best way the two things, our activity and the environment. Works have been realized trying to respect the old structural techniques. Plasters are made of mortar of lime. Floors are done with old terracotta tiles, recycled and lied down without the use of glues. Internal doors are made of natural wood paited with enamel made by water. Hot water is supplied partly by photovoltaic panels, partly by a boiler feed by products cultivated in our farm (maize and pellet). We hope, in the short term, to be able to produce electric power. Foods are mainly free-preservatives, whether produced in our farm or in other ones. Cultural and ludic activities you can enjoy deal with the nature and the respect for it. We hope to improve every year more.

Also here, like in the kitchen, you will discover the peasant tradition, through the typical sheet made by the Poirino draper's shop, the floor done in terracotta tiles, typical of Piedmont from the 17th century and the one done in durmast from the beginning of the 18th century. The evidence of this typical sheet remains in the Poirino draper's shop of the family Bosio and in the Torino draper's shop, called "telerie di poirino", located in Via Po n° 7. Every bedroom has a medium-size bathroom. And finally the rates: the singol room is 40 euro per night, the double 60 euro, breakfast included.
