The surroundings of Torre d'Acquaviva satisfy different tourist needs. From exploration of the mountain territory, to the arts and culture of the neighboring cities of art Gubbio, Urbino and Montefeltro, to the sea of ??the Marche coast, it takes about 30 minutes along the E45 highway.
A few kilometers from the B & B Torre d'Acquaviva we find the Bosso river, a tributary of the Burano river in Cagli. The river is about 15 km long, and originates from the union of three rivers: the Certano, Jordan and Fiumicello, that flow near Pianello. During the summer season, the river is in some places for bathing and traveled by kayak.
The "Cagli" place name comes from the Latin name of Cale, through the forms tardolatine Callis and Callium. The town Middle Ages, however, stood on the Vane Hill, south-west of the modern town.
